What a colossal waste of time. I was contacted by probably the most unprofessional recruiter I've ever met. He set up an initial phone interview where he didn't know answers to half of my questions. Then, I made it to the second round. Which was with two Deloitte managers. I passed that with flying colors.
Then, I get an email from mentioned recruiter with the wrong name. I should have just dropped out then. They gave me an offer letter to sign even before meeting the client, which was strange to me, since they had final approval.
So, lastly, was a 3 to 1 interview with the client. My recruiter told me it would be a "meet and greet". I asked him specifically how prepared I should be, how much I should know, etc. He blatantly told me "don't worry about all of that." WTF? And so this "meet and greet" turned out to be a pretty intense interview which I was not expecting at all, and honestly threw me by surprise and I didn't perform as well. And they did not see me as a "personality fit". The client also had just printed out a copy of questions, and read out loud from them, and seemed incredibly disinterested from the start.
And so my offer was revoked AFTER I signed it. Deloitte needs to do a cleansing of their recruiting department and NOT have potential employees sign their offer letters BEFORE the final round of interviews. And call it an interview, because it's not a "meet and greet" whatever that means for goodness sake.
