Databricks Software Engineer interview questions

I was asked a fairly complicated, abstract algorithms question that reduced to a leetcode medium level problem. I reduced it to the leetcode medium but didn't know how to solve it. The interviewer was helpful and engaged, though, and did his best to work with me. Ultimately a positive experience.

Mostly a negative experience - The recruiter was unresponsive and did not response to my email a few times - One interviewer failed to show up (had to reschedule) - Many of the interviewers struggled to explain or answer clarifying questions. - Interviewers' tone felt combative Phone screen - one coding question Onsite (recruiter sent prep material) - two coding questions (leetcode hard) - two system design questions - one behavioral with hiring manager
