I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (Estocolmo, )
Interview
Just went through a screening, no follow up call was scheduled. First meeting with a TA, simply getting to know each other. A bit of personal questions, nothing major or unexpected. Kinda sad about all initial interviews with SaaS companies being so focused on avg deal size, disregarding of the complexity of the sale. I feel like recruiters overall should chill down on that question, as bigger avg. deal size doesn't necessarily correlate with complexity etc (land & expand, markets etc).
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks (Belgrade) in May 2024
Interview
First came the recruiter interview then a couple of technical interviews, algorithmic and coding type. After that came the behavioural interview with the engineering manager. I got a generic reject letter at the very end.

Question 1
Algorith interview: Scheduling problem, there is a conference room and a number of offers that consist of time of start, duration and the price they are going to pay. For example [1,5,100], [3,9,1000],... You want to maximize profit.
Coding interview: A skeleton of a class was given and a big description of what the goal of the class is, how it would be used, etc. You need to implement some functionalities, test and debug the solution.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Databricks (New York, NY) in Jan 2024
Interview
Went through a few different rounds of hiring manager/technical interview, coding exam. Seemed like fairly standard questions about Databricks and previous experience. Team was nice, was a bit longer than I expected.
