Went through an initial HR interview, asking about university, grades, ambitions and future plans. After passing, there were two coding interviews, both in Leetcode medium difficulty. The interviewers were helpful and patient.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Databricks (París) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was referred by an existing employee. HR setup th einterview next day but she denied to proceed further within the first round and asked to apply for some other role that is going to open soon. She told that she will inform me about it but after two days when I checked my application, it was marked closed without any reponse. Very unprofessional behaviour. An interesting thing that I noticed is she nebaled Gemini AI assistant to record and summarize the conversation before starting the interview. She was reading through the expectations and JD and later handed over to me talk.
I applied with a referral, got recruiter call. We chatted and scheduled phone screen. The process is usual, phone screen, team matching then 4 rounds of interviews. I flunked phone screen. Problem wasnt hard.
