Question 1
Tell me about your experience as it relates to this role
Unfortunately, my interview experience was far from positive. I encountered an arrogant hiring manager who seemed to believe they were the ultimate authority in sales, lacking any sense of EQ. The interview had no clear structure or thoughtful flow - just a disorganized string of questions with little emotion to questioning and little coherence.
Despite going through three stages of interviews, I received no follow-up or feedback, which is both unprofessional and discouraging. While I hope this behavior isn't indicative of the company’s broader culture, it speaks volumes about the importance of choosing hiring managers wisely.
No matter how “hot” a company thinks it is, poor leadership in the hiring process reflects poorly on the entire brand. Even if I were offered a position in this team, I would not accept a role under this male manager.
