It was a really smooth process to interview with Databricks. Had a first round interview with a Program manager who the role will be reporting to. Questions focused on behavioral and also a short SQL exercise done via Docs. Second round was with another Program Manager (more senior), and it was a 1 hour case interview, explaining how you would prepare for the development of a product roadmap. (Not actually creating the product roadmap, which was what I prepared for, but what you would do ahead of time).
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Databricks in Aug 2020
Interview
There were a few individual pre-selection interviews and then a "virtual on-site", which was essentially a day filled with multiple remote interviews. Finally there was a home assignment, that I could complete on my own time. Each interview was very professional and the tasks were challenging and engaging, but also quite a bit of fun.

I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks in Oct 2017
Interview
In order to submit an application, a challenging home programming assignment was required. Then followed a phone screen with a recruiter who then coordinated a tech screen with programming and then an onsite with a number of senior engineers, who asked programming and architecture design questions.
