Phone Coding Interview (1 hour, pure coding, interesting, hard level) + Hiring Mgr Culture Fit (ask a bunch of questions: your goal, strength, project, etc) + Onsite (4 Rounds, 4 different rounds, overall interesting) + Take-Home Coding + 2 References Letters from my previous hiring manager and previous tech leads.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Databricks in Dec 2020
Interview
Interview Process was long and thorough. Had 4 phone screens with hiring management and 1 coding assignment, which is not hard and one can easily finish within a day. No response after that and no notification of final result either. Recruiting team was not responsive during the process and made obvious mistakes in their deliverables.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Databricks (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth, professional and thorough. Everyone I spoke with was polished and informative. I had another offer on the table and Databricks sped up the process to get me an offer in time weigh both offers.
