I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks in Sep 2022
Interview
Interviewer gave a question with topics not aligned to what was discussed previously. Gave bit manip despite explaining that I would be asked trees, oop, dp, etc. Second round went really nice though, I did alright but I don't think I did good enough to pass
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Interviewed with 1 IC, 1 SA, and multiple sales mgrs or sales mgrs in training. I was instructed to read on their Lakehouse Architecture and Delta Lake product however no product or competitive questions came up. A lot of questions around prospecting were asked as if I was interviewing for a BDR role. 1 formal presentation at the end which included a mock discovery call and a 3/6/12 month plan detailing on ramp, prospecting, goals, partnering, etc.
Very well structured, manage consistency all through the interview process and establishing the standards and judge candidates on performance, not just on prior experience and start by defining the key requirements of the job
