      Technical Support Engineer Interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CrowdStrike

      Interview

Overall, process is really slow and was told to reschedule multiple times. The amount I was asking was 55k and was told that was well within the hiring amount (Might be able to get more) 1. Apply online 2. Get a call back from Crowdstrike Hiring Staff (Athena in my case) -------Setup an interview for 1 week later (Interview times are slow) -------Was told they would put in a good word for me 3. Talked with Tier 1 Manager and was informed all went well -------2-3 days later got an email to setup another interview for another week away 4. At the time of the interview got a call saying they were unavailable and to reschedule for next week 5. Had the interview with Dan (Higher Manager) and was told this would be the easiest interview of my life and that I was highly qualified. 6. Setup an interview with Athena for another week later 7. Waited 30 mins, informed Athena that I got no call back and she said she would reach out. Got an email from the interviewer that "There was an emergency" and he would call me. 8. Hours later I randomly got a call from the interviewer and instead of rescheduling did the interview on the spot. ------Was informed if I got this far that I should be good to go and he was just feeling people out 9. About 3 work days later got a call saying I was not a good fit If I was hired, from reading reviews and talking to manager would be 2 weeks minimum to start due to corporate hiring policies. So expect 1-2 months if you are lucky to get hired *Apparently in T1 Support you just do chat support and email support through Sales Force

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Hiring for technical positions can take time because we diligently screen each candidate to ensure she or he is the perfect fit for these roles. We can assure you we take our hiring program very seriously and unfortunately, this sometimes results in a longer hiring process. We also understand that emergencies do arise on both the candidate and managerial sides, but we try our best to accommodate all parties. We wish you the best of luck in your job search!

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CrowdStrike in Apr 2026

      Interview

The overall experience was alright with a friendly atmosphere and the questions were not that hard. The thing that was not so good was that they said they will hire someone who has more experience. Nothing bad there. However they said that they really liked me and would like to stay in touch for future opportunities. Fast forward a month, the guy they wanted to hire declined their offer. When I asked to be reconsidered for the same position, they did not respond back to my emails and opened the position again for other people to apply. I do not mean to be disrespectful but this to me looks like a waste of time for them and for other candidates like me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General support questions and what I do at the current workplace. The manager interview was also pretty chill with an average difficulty.
