      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I was first contacted for the Sales Manager Mid-Market position by Criteo's internal Staffing Coordinator via LinkedIn. After responding to the initial inquiry I was asked to be available for a phone screening later that week. The phone screening involved discussing Criteo as a company, the role itself and you as a candidate. This is effectively stage 1/4 of the interview process ensuring that you understand the key concepts of the position and are a credible candidate. If you are able to pass the question based competency evaluation (phone screening) you will then be asked to do an online analytical test. This test must be done within 72 hours of receiving the necessary email link and is stage 2/4 of the interview process. The 10 question test will have to be answered within 20 minutes and will focus on your numerical ability and critical understanding of core principles used within Criteo. The Staffing Coordinator will advise you by email of the subject ranges included within this examination. Therefore you should be able to revise the necessary principles used to derive the answers for the sales related digital marketing metric questions. If you achieve the minimum required score, or greater, you will then be asked to attend a phone interview conducted by 2 members of the sales team within Criteo. One of these people will be your direct boss alongside another Head of Sales. This is stage 3/4 of the interview process and is effectively a more in-depth version of the initial phone screening. The big difference being that you will have to impress those directly responsible for hiring you so it is best to be firing on all cylinders here. Unfortunately I did not pass this part of the interview process, I believe this was mostly due to me not fitting their ideal candidate in terms of experience and profile. Overall I was very happy with the interview process despite not progressing to stage 4. The Staffing Coordinator was very professional throughout and diligent with feedback. The final part of the interview process would have been based on a power point sales presentation given on Criteo's products/services.

I applied online. I interviewed at Criteo (Barcelona) in Jul 2017

      Interview

The process was very slow, this could be due to the fact that it was in the summer period. First you get contacted by the recruiter, then a quick interview/sales pitch with the sales manager and then a face to face interview.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Barcelona) in Nov 2016

      Interview

The process has 4 stages: 1. Initial 45- min chat with HR, very friendly, it's an exploratory call to gauge your motivation, background and general industry knowledge (Doesn't goo too deep into that). This becomes your main contact during the rest of the process. 2. Computer test with 8 questions regarding day-to-day concepts in online marketing (CPC, CPM, Incremental revenue, etc) 3. Phone interview with hiring manager, role-play. 45-min 4. In-office role play presentation where 3 managers play the role of a client and you need to prepare a slideshow and pitch Criteo to them, answering questions and negotiating a starting price. They're constantly asking for your feedback before giving you theirs, and checking how good are you at taking and assimilating feedback in order not to repeat the same mistake twice. They are of course demanding but very respectful and work alongside you rather than against you. The recruiter who was your first contact is always available to answer any questions you may have and provide you with support. (Thank you, you know who you are!). I suggest you make good use of this.
