The process was pretty standard. An interview with HR, an assignment, and a panel interview. I had been very excited about this job until the panel interview. Two of the people interviewing were very snobbish; one of them almost refused to say anything at all during the process, except for one question and they seemed like they really did not want to be there. When I asked about career advancement, they danced around the question but the bottom line is that there is none. For this same question, one interviewer was slightly condescending about me not having a second nationality, justifying this by stating that my nationality was very hard to sponsor abroad which is why I was not going to be able to pursue other options within the company elsewhere. The third person was the only nice one who actually seemed to want to be there and seemed to listen carefully to what I had to share.
When I got the offer, HR insisted I talk to them the same day, but I ended up receiving the written documents like a week and a half after they said they would send them, so I don't understand what their rush was. In the offer, the person who extended it (who had been in the interview, which I assume meant they had seen my name and credentials multiple times) wrote my name wrong twice. Fortunately, I did not need to take this offer.
