I applied online. I interviewed at Connected in Jul 2016
Interview
I got an email stating that I need a to finish a Coding Challenge, then face to face interview. I finished the coding challenge and the problems weren't hard, but you needed to perfect them. The HR didn't contact me after I finishing the coding hackathon challenge.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Connected in Sep 2016
Interview
Not much to say - I submitted my application online, and received an email to complete the Hackerrank challenge a couple of days later. It has been a few weeks, and I have not yet heard back since I have completed the challenge (with good code, etc.)
I have been told that the hiring process involves one round of onsite (3-4 questions asked, by the same interviewer; first question is straight code, second and third were both design questions with code somewhat optional, and a bonus fourth question if you indicate good knowledge with distributed systems/load balancing/etc.). A final interview with the VP mainly for fit before offer.

Question 1
1. Given an element, find if it exists in a binary search tree.
2. Parenthesis matching - this is a commonly asked algorithms question.
3/4. 2 Multiple choice questions regarding general programming knowledge (they were easy)
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Connected (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online. I had an Skype interview with the office manager, then went to their office (gorgeous space on King West) for a technical interview. Later that evening, I received a call from one of the founders and later, the CEO. Overall, it was a great experience and I can tell that the culture is one of the best any Toronto startup can offer. Unfortunately, after much deliberation, I decided it wasn't the right move in my career and I had to pass on the offer.
