Coloplast Project Manager interview questions

I went through an intense process of 8 interviews for a position over 3 months. Among the skills needed, the job required experience in a specific area (OR) that I didn't have and I made sure to mention it during the phone screening interview. I was told this wouldn't be dismissing as my skill set matched the profile needed and I would get training and practice in the OR later. After 8 interviews, we were down to 2 candidates and they told me they were going with the other one because I didn't have experience in OR... They should have told me from the get-go and saved me 3 months of stress. All in all, I am extremely disappointed by the company, especially when they only left a voicemail to let me know I wasn't getting the job; but I'm actually happy I didn't get the job...
