I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cognizant (Ahmedabad)
Interview
It was pretty simple. First a very easy test. Mostly based on the the quantitative aptitude and English verbal. According to me R S Aggarwal and some English newspaper reading would be good enough for this test. But one thing to consider is that time is everything. Especially quant. They expect that you solve 1 question in 1 minute and less.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They started asking about virtual function in c++ which was quite easy but it almost lasted about half an hour. Half hour of virtual function. Nothing ELSE. They just wanted to see whether i was able handle the pressure.
