Standard interview process with multiple executives and managers inquiring about the prior experiences, past challenges, relevant experiences, situational management capabilities, conflict management skills, cross functional management, client interaction skills, supplier management skills and capabilities, delegation and managerial skills
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Cisco (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2013
Interview
“You never get a second chance to make a first impression”.
describing how interviewers make initial assessments and spend the rest of the interview working to confirm those assessments. If they like you, they look for reasons to like you more. If they don’t like your handshake or the awkward introduction, then the interview is essentially over because they spend the rest of the meeting looking for reasons to reject you. These small moments of observation that are then used to make bigger decisions are called “thin slices.”

Interview
Cisco hiring is all about consensus building. No tough questions, all interviewers are polite and professional so you have to just guess what they may say about you !!!.... If everyone likes you, you get the job. Cisco pays very well so don't be surprised if the offer turns out to be better than what your recruiter socializes with you.
