I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (San Jose, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
I submitted my application online and was contacted by a member of recruiting to schedule a Webex interview. During this interview I was asked some personality questions (what was the most difficult part of being a teaching assistant?), a few standard data structure/algorithm questions, as well as some questions about databases since I had that listed on my resume (what is the difference between a foreign and primary key?). I was notified a few days later that I made it to the next round, during which I interviewed in-person at a conference with my hiring manager. Again, I had a few personality questions and a few standard data structure/algorithm questions. I was notified 2 days later that I'd gotten a job offer. Overall a very easy, quick and pleasant process.
