I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One in Apr 2024
Interview
First round was a phone screen with HR. Second round is a Code Signal "assessment". It's not really a measure of your coding ability. The assessment is a measure of can you handle unreasonable deadlines and unnecessary pressure from management. They give you an average of 17 minutes per question. They start easy, but the final question is equivalent in complexity to them asking you to prepare and submit your taxes. The task is fine, but the time limit is insane, and reflective of management that has unrealistic expectations and deadlines. Don't waste your time.
