Got a codesignal in may, completed it and moved on to a talk with the recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager, then another talk with the recruiter. She then passed me on to another recruiter who then gave me another assessment. Finally got a generic desk rejection in August. FOUR MONTHS FOR A BASIC DATA JOB IS ACTUALLY CRIMINAL.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process had 3 rounds.
Round 1: CodeSignal Online Assessment - The OA had 14 statistics questions, which had to be solved using Excel sheets, and 1 SQL leet code question.
Round 2: Data Challenge - A 10-day-long assignment to answer a few business questions from the given metadata. The focus is on data lineage, wrangling, outlier handling, and calculations to provide the correct recommendations.
