I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in May 2016
Interview
It started with a short HR interview and then an online coding quiz with easy/medium/hard problem but neither was really difficult. This was followed up with a phone interview with the hiring manager and I then proceeded to the on-site interview. Capital One arranged the flight, hotel and limo transfers between airport, hotel and campus.
The onsite interview consisted of two behavioral and two job fit interviews in 1:1 settings, neither of which was difficult due to my preparation.
The internal recruiter was very helpful throughout the whole process and always available for questions.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA)
Interview
I believe this was the correct order. Online logic test followed by online programming test. Technical phone screen and then 1/2 day in-person interview which consists of 4 1-hour interviews, 2 behavioral and 2 technical. The decision was made at the end of that day and I had my answer the next day.

Question 1
I don't remember any 1 question being super difficult. The part that made it difficult is the length of the process and the number of interviews you had to go through.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Jul 2014
Interview
1) Hacker rank 2) Telephonic 3) Onsite called Power day which included two 45 minutes technical and two 45 min behavioral.
Everything was fine but the recruiter was an idiot of first class. Good that he finally left the company.
