I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Had a phone interview with HR. This job would require relocation so his questions were mostly about my willingness to relocate. I have also been out of work for several years to raise children so he asked questions of how I was able to stay current in IT. He was very pleasant and is setting up a phone interview with a hiring manager.

Question 1
Nothing difficult at all. Mostly wanted to see if I had the passion and interest
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Capital One in Oct 2013
Interview
I filled out the online application and took the assessment. I got a call a few days later and was asked if I could participate in a phone interview that afternoon. I said sure and they called exactly when they said they would. The interviewer asked the basic questions and provided me some information about the position. All was going fairly well but when I told her I had not been working since 2010 the interview ended abruptly. She said I would hear back within two business days.
I am not optimistic.

Question 1
There were no difficult or unexpected questions. When asked what I knew about their company I stated that I liked their commercials. My attempt at humor didn't get a response so I played it straight for the remainder of the interview.
