I applied online through the website and received a phone call a few hours later to set up a phone interview the following week. Phone interview basically reviewed my past experiences, what I know about the position I applied for, and how those experiences are relevant to the duties of the position. I was then asked to complete the online assessment, which was comparable to an SAT/GRE type standardized test--definitely not something to take lightly though. Then came the in-person interviews. I was set to see three separate people, but I ended up spending the whole time with the Brokerage Processing Director (who is now my manager) who was very intelligent, welcoming, and professional. This interview was on a Friday, and I received an offer the following Monday. After a drug-screen, FINRA BG check and general BG check, a final offer was extended.
Capital One was VERY professional in their hiring process, and all of the associates involved were prompt in their responses to any inquiries I had. Needless to say, I was impressed by their recruiting method and those who administered it.
