I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
I had a senior working at Capital One and so had a rough idea about the work there. Also I did attend Capital One’s pre-placement talk.
Make sure you do attend the pre placement talk. That way you will get to know about the company and the kind of work you would be expected to do if you do get selected.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Bengaluru) in Nov 2012
Interview
Aptitude test (mostly data interpretation) of 30 questions. Then 3 case study rounds followed by an HR interview. Their selection process is strangely difficult. Pray that you get a good interviewer. My interviewer was constantly looking into my case study solution sheet which made me a little uncomfortable as I am not used to micromanagement.
