Technical telephonic interview with the hiring manager and an on-site interview with the Senior Architect. Mostly basic technical javascript questions like Single vs Multi threaded, Components in React, architecture..
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CalAmp (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2018
Interview
I was called on the phone to see if I was still interested in pursuing an internship with this company. I was then set up for another phone interview where they asked me Python questions and then I passed that and was called to their campus, where I had 4 thirty-minute interviews with 4 different people. Then one of the employees asked if I wanted to speak to a higher official in the company, he was busy though. I was kinda bummed after being notified afterward that I wasn't selected for a position, especially since each person acted as if I had so much potential at their company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me how I would add something to a dictionary. Which part of the team I would want to be a part of, etc.
Recruiter messaged me about my application. Got a phone screen with recruiter, then with the director. They invited me to meet the team. It was informal, the team was great. I have followed up many times and have not received a response.
Would not recommend, that was a waste of time.
