CIBC interview questions

The interview process was 3 rounds total. First a screening call then an initial interview with mostly behavioral and standard interview questions then a commercial banking case study about a lending opportunity.

During round 2 of the interview process, the meeting with the hiring manager ended up being a phone call due to technical issues on their end. I so believe this hindered my chances of putting my best foot forward, and put me at a disadvantage when other candidates were able to participate in a proper virtual interview. I moved to round 3, but there was no indication during previous meetings and comms that there was going to be a time-sensitive "design exercise" to be completed. I completed the task (which was a full conceptual campaign test) and on time and submitted my work to hiring manager with the promise of a 30-minute meeting that never happened. I provided my availability multiple times and did not hear back for 2 weeks. After numerous email attempts, I reached out to the Talent team to follow up. They advised that the Team's VP would reach out for a quick phone call that didn't happen either. Hiring committee was reluctant to provide transparency and/or feedback throughout the process.
