CIBC interview questions

I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto) in early August. I was told that the hiring manager was excited by my resume and would like to meet for sure. Got moved to the second round and completed an assignment that included an agenda, run sheet, and presentation. Didn't hear back for 2-3 weeks. Checked my application in the Workday portal, and it said pending. A few hours later, it said closed. Tried to email the interviewer and hiring manager multiple times with no response. Feels disrespectful to not send any sort of denial email or feedback after such a long process.
