CIBC interview questions

I was contacted by a third-party recruiter and completed a detailed form of my background and past work in addition to a phone screening. Afterward, I had 2 rounds of interviews with a person and then a second round with another person. Around two weeks after the final round of interviews, the recruiter called and told me they hired an internal candidate. This was somewhat frustrating as it felt like I was used for a fake interview in order to justify an internal hire.

Straight forward, pretty common questions mainly behavioural , getting to know your character and how you work alone and in a group environment. Describing high level what a typical day is like and some of the tasks expected of you
