I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2023
Interview
Very straightforward and transparent interview process. About a week after applying I got an email from HR to set up a phone interview/screening process, which took place about two days later. After the phone interview, HR sent me a subsequent interview outlining the next steps that I could expect in the hiring process, which I very much appreciated. I met with the hiring manager and another senior manager the following week. Received an offer two days later. Overall, took about 2 weeks from application to offer, which has been significantly shorter than the application process for some other larger companies I've applied to. I ended up turning down the position in favour of another that more closely aligned with my career goals, but I was very pleased with how quick and transparent the hiring process was.
