      Commercial Banking Accelerate Program Interview

      Dec 10, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Edmonton, AB
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Edmonton, AB) in Nov 2022

      Interview

First interview was with senior manager and Director which seemed more kind of if you like sales and what you would do situations. Second interview was more of credit analysis which was basic calculations like gross profit and net profit for a company. The notes after the financial statements are more important to understand, try best hand writing. The director had already decided from his reactions on the face than my calculations while the senior manager was very interesting. So impress the directors best as you can.
