I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2014
Interview
HR usually calls you for a preliminary interview just to check on the details of your resume. Then, if you pass, you will be scheduled to have an interview with the training manager where the interviewer will give you scenarios and a role play in selling credit cards.
The interviewer often would like you to do most of the talking and would encourage you to state your "Fit" for the job. If you pass the managers interview, HR will shoot you an email for onboarding.

Question 1
Questions mainly revolve over your experience and expectations. How do you see yourself 5 yrs from now? Why would this company hire you? What was the most challenging scenario that you encountered?
Quick and easy. Was smooth as I knew the manager ( met her at my previous job). Would recommend to apply on careers page. Good company to work for. Ueuej
Really quick. There wasn’t a lot of questions and I was contacted each week. It was quite short and they really needed people. Most of the questions were basic and focused on customer service rather than balancing.
Just asked to do the assessment task and failed me. This has been happening with the CIBC since 2 years despite getting interviews from other banks. I don't know what could be the problem.
