Interview
Referred by friend, submitted resume, had in-person interview with board of managers, had phone interview, received job offer by phone. Then went through extensive domestic and international screenings and background checks which were arranged by an assigned HR rep. After reviewing the offer letter I requested a higher salary since it had not been mentioned until this point in the process. CIBC was firm on its monetary figure and did not budge.
Online application and two online interview rounds via video call. Very smooth process. One screening round with recruiter and one with hiring manager team. All behavioural no technical questions. Interviews were approx 15-30 minutes in length.
