It was just a phone interview but it seemed like it was just a call centre on Toronto asking generic questions
Why are you looking?
What is your salary expectation?
Are you ok with commuting to the office?
It was a generic interview. Was offered another interview but took another job. They were slow with the process
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC in Aug 2024
Interview
I was invited to an online interview with a Human Resources representative. I was asked about my experience and given a series of scenario-based questions. After completing that step, I then interviewed with a branch manager a week later at the job's proposed location. There, I underwent a similar process where I was asked about how I would behave in certain situations. This time, though, the questions were less open-ended.

Question 1
"Tell me a time when you had to deal with an irate client. How did you respond?"
The two managers interviewed via teams video, which took about 30 minutes. Both interviewers were very nice. In addition to some regular questions, there were also some scenario questions. Results will be notified by phone one week after the interview.
