I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2016
Interview
I had a phone interview and a face to face interview. The face to face interview was pretty good and the manager was super nice and friendly. But the phone interview with HR was a bad experience. That HR didn't care about my answers, interrupted me many times.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CIBC (Kirkland, QC) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online through CIBC careers and within two days I got a phone call back from human ressources. I was asked basic questions about my career path, why I want to work at CIBC, how I deal with difficult customer situations and to go through my CV. Then I got a call for a face to face interview where I was interviewed by two people. It was pretty standard, I was asked about my education, my career goals, availability, tell me about yourself etc. The questions where straight forward and direct with no curve balls.
