ByteDance Talent Acquisition Partner interview questions

I applied 1 week before the interview. Online interview was conducted and there were 2 interviews. Only 1 was asking me questions and the other person did not turn on the camera and microphone. No questions about career aspiration, achievement, etc. All the questions were circling about how am I going to deal with 3rd party recruitment agency. That got me confused with the role I was applying. 1 week later, I received a phone call stating that I will receive my offer after confirming my salary expectation and the laptop will be delivered to my doorstep. Another week later, I still did not receive my offer and the person who called me did not reply to my text. I sent an email the next day morning and received a text at night stating that my salary expectation was too high and therefore my application will not be moving forward. I mentioned that my salary was negotiable and till now did not receive any reply. It was 1 month ago.
