ByteDance Data Scientist interview questions

There will be 2 rounds of interviews. The first round is a tech interview. There was a senior Data Scientist conducting the interview. They asked a lot of questions related to traditional statistics.

Chinese interview. The entire interview process is in Chinese. Asked the interviewer if one can speak English, and they said no in Chinese. Extremely awkward interview as one is forced to speak technical terms in Chinese without preparation. Be very careful when applying to this company if you do not speak Chinese as your first language.
