ByteDance Data Engineer interview questions

The first one was a technical/ coding interview. The interviewer did not articulate the problem at all. I felt like, He expected me to have gone though all algo questions in leetcode and start coding as soon as he says for ex. "magic square" problem. Kept on asking for examples and then lastly he gave one. The most disappointing thing with the overall experience is that they did not have courtesy to update me about the feedback. After 6 weeks i inquired and then they let me know. I felt like its for my own good :) Hope you can understand
