Step 1. Application Screening
The first step is the assessment of the application. If you clear this step, you get an invitation for a telephone interview. Takes around a month.
Step 2. Telephone Interview
Typical behavioral interview where you describe the stations in your Resume and answer a couple questions using STAR technique.
E.g. Describe a situation where you had to take a risk and what did you learn from it.
If you clear this stage, you get a link to online tests from Cut-e. Happens within a week.
Step 3. Online Assessment
2 types of personality assessment quiz, numerical and verbal assessment. If you clear this, you get an invitation to the assessment center. Happens within a week.
Step 4. Assessment Center
It was the first ever assessment center in Germany consisting of 2 rounds. If you clear the first round, you are invited to the 2nd round or else given an immediate rejection with a brief feedback. All costs of travelling and overnight stay are covered.
Round 1: Self presentation using flipchart (PowerPoint not allowed)
Individual Case study related to your field (We had 5 people for Technical R&D track and 5 people for Ops & SCM track). Everyone had to prepare within 40 min and present the solution in 20 min.
The case study for the Ops & SCM track was quite technical and related to the industrial engineering concepts (Optimization of an assembly line consisting of 4 workstations using LEAN concepts). A person having a business background in SCM will certainly have difficulty solving this.
