It was a phone interview but unfortunately, they had offered the position to someone else so the interviewer did not interview me just told me that I have been put on hold for this position and they have my resume on file with them so they will reach out if there is any need in the future.

I was called for an in-person interview in the university career center. The interviewer was very friendly, but I was not asked any probing questions. After that I was told to apply online, but I was rejected without any real interview. I am not sure what happened.

I had attended the career fair and gave them my resume. About a week after, I received on-campus interview unexpectedly. The first round campus interview was all behavior questions and we had a very pleasant talk but I still got rejected.
