Quite possibly the rudest and most condescending hiring manager I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. He started off the interview immediately laying into me about how my experience wasn't in the exact niche they wanted, and I had to wonder why he even wanted to interview me in the first place because he clearly had read my resume. It seems almost like he just enjoyed being a bully and wanted to take his aggression on me. It was the first and only interview I've ever ended early.
two super days in person with 4 people each, two phone interviews. Overall good experience. Coming from college, main focus of the interviews was industry and asset class knowledge, transactions if relevant previous internships, and personality/culture fit

Question 1
Walk me through your internship experience at x? What were your day to day responsibilities?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Barclays (Indore) in Aug 2025
Interview
It was easy, the interviewers were very nice and forgiving in nature. Some People were grilled heavily on their projects, though. I think they put more emphasis on Communication skills than Technical Expertise, atleast at entry level.
