I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BT Group (New York, NY) in Sep 2013
Interview
It was a typical interview process where you have a phone screen, in person interview, and follow-up. They did have me also phone interview with their client. Everyone was professional and the questions were not that difficult.

Question 1
Typical questions on past projects and client relationships.
The interview process is a multi-stage process for hiring new employees. The interview process typically includes the following steps: writing a job description, posting a job, scheduling interviews, conducting preliminary interviews, conducting in-person interviews, following up with candidates and making a hire.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BT Group
Interview
The first step was a video recording interview, in which it was asked kind of basic questions (why are you interested in the position, which are your expectations about the position, and so forth). Second step was an assessment center, with other three candidates, but the managers made it in a way that you were not feeling the competition but more a kind of cooperation between the candidates. The assessment was kind of general task (no deep technical PM knowledge was needed), how to allocate a budget between 3 different hotels for different projects, where each of the candidates was representing the hotel owner. Besides that it was requested to present a ppt about our own project which we performed in the past, kind of project charter material. Overall it was a pleasant interview.

Question 1
One tricky question was the role play in which I was a project manager, and the manager was a team lead of the data reporting team who struggle to provide data correct and in time. So, we needed to discuss how to solve the problem.
3 step process - informal chat, hiring manager skill based and experience related questions. Make sure you understand their key values and have an example of how you would fulfill each of them. Very reasonable and helpful recruiting team, quick turnaround in terms of decision making on their side
