AstraZeneca interview questions

Applied online and was contacted to schedule a phone interview within 2 days of applying. One week later was interviewed by someone from HR. Standard interview questions: tell me about yourself? what was the most difficult situation and how did handle it? what are your salary expections? When can you start? The impression that I had was that it was standard questions without no connection with my scientific background or the job description. W

I was contacted by the HR specialist to establish my interest in a screening phone interview with the hiring manager. Screening phone interview lasted 45 minutes and essentially covered my relevant previous work experience, why I was interested in AZ and this position, specific job-related experience relevant to the position applied for. If they are not interested, do not expect a call back or any other communication and they are pretty closed as a system relative to following up on your own initiative.
