I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Apple (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2021
Interview
There were supposed to be two technical interviews. My first two technical interviews went really well, and I was supposed to hear back if I had gotten the job or not. 2-3 weeks later I find out that I had a third technical interview. It took me a while to hear back so I messaged my HR contact to find out what the status of my application was. She told me they were not moving forward with my application. About a month later, I get an email from my HR contact saying they might have a position available for me. I let her know that I needed to know ASAP so I can rearrange my plans if necessary. I emailed them every week for about a month asking them to let me know if they had a position open or not. They told me the day after the deadline I gave them that I did not get the job. They strung me along for 4 months.

Question 1
Why is an I-beam stronger than a rectangular beam?
Started out by receiving an email from HR with some housekeeping questions. Then I was scheduled with a hiring manager and passed that round and was taken to the next round with another hiring manager.

Interview
Very cut throat interviews, short phone calls, honestly not very inviting…. After the interviews my view on the company changed. Hopefully it was just the person I had to deal with
