I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple in May 2014
Interview
The first interview was a phone call. They were perfectly nice and simply ran me through a couple troubleshooting scenarios. The call lasted probably less than ten minutes tops. It went well so the scheduled me for a second interview right then and there.
The second interview was on Skype with a different recruiter where she asked me more technical questions and looking for informational as well as empathetic responses. It went well enough that she said she would email me the next interviewing manager.
The third interview was a manager of the at home advisers. It was almost exactly the same as the second interview.
Then when I got the offer they did a third party back ground check that took upwards of two weeks to complete.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied online and briefly spoke to an agent over the phone. She emailed me to set up a FaceTime interview. The interviewer asked questions on how I would handle a call. He threw me situations and I had to respond with questions I would ask to figure out what is wrong. Went pretty well. I received an email asking me to finish my online profile. I think I took too long to fill it out (I needed references) because I eventually got the denial email.
