1st Round: The first interview went pretty smoothly even though it got delayed and rescheduled a couple of times. Right after it ended, HR got back to me with feedback and asked me to share a slot for the second round. 2nd Round: This round also saw a few reschedules and finally happened on a Saturday. The panel asked a couple of simple verification questions, but then it got weird — the interviewer literally started Googling DV questions live during the call and asked me whatever popped up. Most of the questions weren’t relevant or useful for real-world work. It felt odd because he wanted optimized answers but didn’t want me using core C/C++ concepts. I got through all the curveballs he threw. But post-interview, HR went quiet. After a week, he said the panel was on leave, and then disappeared again. Sumanth, the HR, was very poor in communication. Overall, the whole process turned into a frustrating experience.
