Interview
After completing the online application and relevent online testing, there is a phone interview which lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. The questions are straight forward competency questions asking about motivation, why AmEx, why Finance etc.
if successful, you'll be invited to an Assessment Centre which consists of an individual presentation on a selected case study, which you have 1 hour to extrapolate information and present it; 2 face-to-face interviews and a group exercise.
On the whole, the day was very enjoyable, you meet alot of new people and have the change to talk to current interns/employees of American Express

"Describe a time you have gone out of your way to deal with a difficult customer?"
Followed by:
"was the fact the the customer was difficult your fault?"

Interview
The company called me for an interview through a referral. There was just 2 rounds of interview where ,1st round was screening round with the HR which checked the communication skills, emphasis is given to the grammar and sentence formation, choice of words and and followed by a technical round which comprised of basic accounts questions.

Interview
The interview went well, the company said that it would correspond within a week or so with the results, but later on , after about 4 weeks, the HR said that the position has been freezed and they are not hiring anyone for the position.
This is so unprofessional behavior by such a big company.
