Amazon Web Services Developer interview questions

The interviewer introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself. Then he asked me to explain my project, after which he gave me a problem to solve. First, he explained the question and asked for my idea to solve it. I gave him an outline of my approach, and then he told me to write the code.

I had a recommendation from a friend who worked there. I submitted a CV, but it was immediately rejected by the application system and required a manual intervention to re-approve. For the rest, the process was fairly normal for AWS: 5 interviews, focused on Amazon leadership principles. Initial interviews had some coding tasks on the level of "write a linked list". The HR was very nice.
