I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon in Jul 2015
Interview
There really wasn't an interview. I went to an hiring event. They talked about what we would get working for the company. Then we went to pick a shift. After that we did drug test. About a couple days later went to orientation at the distribution center. Watched videos and got talked to by supervisors and thats it. You got your badge the day your shift started.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Middletown, DE) in Aug 2015
Interview
No "interview", just have to do a drug test and attend orientation. Applied online and received an email a few days later to come into the warehouse for the orientation process. Came in and most people there were dressed VERY casually. Did a mouth drug test (forget what kinds of drugs) and filled out a form. Then I received another email to attend orientation which was watching a presentation and then a tour of the building. Really simple stuff.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Columbia, SC) in May 2015
Interview
The process was strictly in a group setting. They pretty much gave jobs to everyone who attended. After taking your photo for your ID card, they had groups watch videos about benefits and compensation, the types of positions available, and the hours. They ended with a simple drug test. The hardest part is simply waiting in line because of the sheer number of applicants,
