I first had a phone screening with the recruiter, then on to a phone interview with a member of the team - still in the interview process and no issues.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
First interview was with the recruiter and then followed up with the hiring manager, which lasted about an hour. Second round consisted of an interview with 5 different people from different departments.
This second round was engaging and the questions asked weren't your typical interview questions. Instead they wanted to see how you would handle specific problems and how you would leverage Amazon tech or other tech to solve it.
The only negative I give for this interview was that it took a while for them to get back to me when they originally said it would take 1 week after the second round. I had to email the recruiter twice and finally received a response.

Interview
Very hard - I had five interviews back to back. Four were related to the job I was interviewing for and one was an interview for culture fit. Leadership Principles and how you can apply them to previous work experience is key.
