I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Aug 2013
Interview
Had a phone screen that went terrible. Military recruiter said I had great content; however, the delivery was not the best. Went to interview and tour LEX2 and was offered position 1 week later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Amazon wants to hear about how you took a process and made it easier and more efficient. They are all about "new" ideas. Data driven and goal oriented are a must. Understand how to allocate labor based on Units per hour.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
