I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Odd experience. Recruiter interview, phone interview, then video with 5 HR and Ops people called loop interviews. During loop, no one looks you in the eye. Stare at computer screen the entire time. Ask Qs unrelated to the job to see if you align with Leadership Principles. If you are over 50, don't bother. Amazon is looking for 25-35 yr olds to mold
into their ’culture’ - my interpretation of the experience. Good interview prep experience before applying at a company who values the individual versus culture.

General ’Tell me a time’ q’s. Big emphasis on data, emphasis on big.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublín, Dublín) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very positive experience. The down side was there were 6 rounds of interviews in total but they were scheduled close together. Communication was excellent and a huge amount of helpful resources provided to you to help you prepare.
Phone interview. Asked 4 typical question. The Amazon phone interview was structured and focused on behavioral questions using the STAR method. The interviewer was professional, asking about leadership principles, past challenges, and decision-making. It felt fast-paced yet conversational. I shared clear examples from my experience, highlighted results, and ended confident I demonstrated impact and fit.

It was a long but a well designed one. There are tips online that one should go over before the interview process. It can take more than one month to complete the steps, so one should be patient while taking all the tests and other stuff.
