I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon in May 2014
Interview
The interview was about 30 minutes long, including the open session for questions. The first step was to go over the work history and previous employment, followed by a math problem and three questions regarding to leadership and challenges faced during that role. You don't have to get the answer right, I don't know if it prevents you from getting the position, but you have to explain each step you took to get the answer.
The phone interview is the first step, if you pass that, you get extended a face-to-face interview and a tour at the actual Fulfillment Center. The company informs you within two business days, via email, of which fulfillment center your next interview will be conducted.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
